What Insurance Does Pelvic Prime Accept?

We are in the process of being Blue Cross Blue Shield credentialed as well and expect to start accepting the following BCBS plans very soon:  


For all other insurances we offer a cash price  / private pay discount! We can provide you with a superbill receipt (superbills are medical reimbursement receipts) which can be submitted for reimbursement to your insurance provider. We do recommend you contact your insurance to confirm reimbursement amounts.

How Much Does Ultrasound Imaging Cost?

There is no extra cost. This is just another “tool in the tool box” and is considered a part of your regular physical therapy treatment.

Where Is Pelvic Prime Located?

We are located in the upstairs of Aiken Medical Center, right next to Aiken regional hospital. It is a red brick building across from the hospital duck pond and across the street from the university.

Pelvic Prime's lobby has a check in kiosk. After you check in, take a seat and relax, the snacks and coffee are free. We will be with you shortly. 


If you enter the building from the downstairs parking lot (South Entrance)

Go up the stairs and turn right.

We are about 1/2 down the hallway on your left side.

If you enter the building through the upstairs parking lot (North entrance), 

Walk through the lobby and turn left.

We are about 1/2 down the hallway on your left side.

If you enter the building through the OBGYN parking lot (East entrance)

Walk all the way down the hallway.

You can take the elevator (located on your right) to the 2nd floor and then turn left.

Or you can take the stairwell (located on your left) to the 2nd floor and then turn right

Do I Need A Referral Or Prescription From My Doctor?

No! You do not need a referral to be treated by a physical therapist in the state of South Carolina. After your first visit, we fax over the evaluation paperwork for your doctor's signature. 

Does Pelvic Prime Perform An Internal Exam?

Yes, depending on the client. All evaluative and assessment measures are provided as per your comfort level and with your consent. In addition to external exams and questionnaires, I may perform an internal exam to further evaluate the muscle and tissue with your consent. This can be discussed in more detail on a case-by-case basis.
